A Case of Congenital Huge Pararenal Pseudocyst

Abstract

|
We experienced a case of congenital huge Pararenal pseudacyst (urinoma) in a 10 month-old-female baby.
On palpation the abdominal wall was slightly rigid and a soft, contender, round mass (15x5 cm) was found occupying the entire left side of the abdomen.
Examination of the urine was negative far albumin and sugar with microscopic study within normal range.
The diagnosis was confirmed by intravenous pyelagraphy, renagram and voiding cystaurethragram.
Left pyelaplasty and pigtail stent indwelling were performed and 1, 000 ml of urine like fluid was aspirated.
A brief summary of literature is presented.
